Im gona take a shot in the dark here but I'm guessing it's the best card they've ever build because it's faster than the last best card they've ever built.
That's the samething i was thinking it's the 590.Ahhh here's another thing you can blame on consoles people calling current gen hardware nextgen. What next gen... it's not Kepler, it's just going to be two Fermis on a stick.

So they moved on from showing fake PCB's with a cooler attacked by wood screws to a video with dates on them?
I think the wood screws are cheaper
aaaaaaahh "whats in the box ?"
aaaaaaahh "whats in the box ?"
The box is full of air.
it's in there... just broken in half to fit...
The first quote is from seven your quote is from UHF
I don't think it's the GTX 590. He said they had been working on it for the past two years, and I'm guessing it didn't take them that long to make that. The claim "next-gen" makes it sound to me like it's not going to be the 590, since it's built on current-gen technology.

Well....typically that IS how those things work...
New features might be nice, but that's more on game/DirectX devs to implement first.
Yeah, I'm sure Crytek will make sure to start getting on that...
oh wait...
Similarly, one of the interesting oddities of PC-gaming is how good-multi-gpu scaling can give you next-gen power, 'today'.
Anyone else think the DX11 patch for Crysis 2 will coincide with the debut of this card which is almost certainly the much anticipated GTX 590?
