The Android Marketplace is more profitable than Apple's App store? Well, at least for one developer it is.

Despite the broader reach of Apple's App Store compared to the Android Market, some developers have reported more success selling apps on Google's mobile platform. Spacetime Studios, a developer that offers popular apps through both avenues, claims that it consistently observed much higher user activity on Android.

The executive theorizes that the gap is likely due to the smaller number of competing apps on the Android platform, a number which is eclipsed by the variety available on iOS.

I would expect nothing less from an MMO Title. I would hazard a guess there are iPhone users who don't even know what an MMO is.

Unsurprising, considering the genre of game. Anroid is a computer geek's platform of choice, and such people typically also play MMOs. I'd like to see sales number on a mainstream game, maybe Angry Birds or one of the many Sudoku apps.

My experience on selling the same app on both platforms has been the complete opposite by a magnitude of 7x.

I never insulted anyone. I expressed my opinion on the device they choose to use, which in my opinion is the worse mobile os currently. They on the other hand choose to directly insult the user. As I said, must be a sad life.

Nothing valid about a "my phones better than your phone" argument.

Don't care either way on this, as long as the phone makes calls, play music, and can get my email and internet, could be a Blackberry for all I care. I've noticed that when I get apps, they are a 5 minute wonder, and then forgotten.
