P8P67 Pro 82579V NIC running at 100 mbit only?

Hi Everyone,

I have a P8P67 Pro with the latest 16.1 Intel LAN drivers installed (previously had 15.6 and 16.0). I have noticed on with each driver set, that my NIC eventually switches to 100 mbit and will not flip back to gigabit. I have ran the diagnostics and everything comes back fine. The only way to get it back to a full duplex gigabit connection is to uninstall/reinstall the drivers. Also, if I try to force it to a gigabit connection, the NIC just sits at "cable unplugged".

I have a Linksys E3000 with the latest firmware (not hacked). So I doubt it is an issue with the router.

Any thoughts, or others with similar issues?

An edgy cable could cause this pretty easily. Have you tried another?

Yes, (they are brand new) I tried swapping the cables out, same problem. I also punched down my own to test, same.

try a different port on your router. Ive had them go bad in the past.

I'll try that out today, I hope it's not a bad port as my E3000 is brand new.
