The Turkish website Donanimhaber has leaked the details of the upcoming Radeon HD 6990. I'm reposting the leaked slides for those of you that can't access the site directly.

it looks impressive if marketing slides are to be believed
but the AUSUM.....Uber mode...??? really?/??
if 2x 6990 scales that well, doesn't that mean 4x 6970 would scale just as well?
To be fair, I've seen 100+% scaling before for nvidia, but I think this is a first for AMD.
The HD6990OC version will apparently have 3 PCI-E power connectors: 2 8pin and 1 6-pin, that's the only way I can see getting 450W on a card.
If the Asus Ares 5970 came loaded with 2 8pin and 1 6pin, then, what would the Ares 6990 come with? 3 8pin? This also makes me wonder how many connectors the Asus Mars GTX590 and EVGA GTX590 FTW cards will come with...
*67% faster than GTX580, if true, would be amazing, though I wish the stock 6990 could be 67% faster than the GTX580.
EDIT: I wonder if AMD will release a STREAM version of this card.
In fact, looking at the cheesy way AMD played with the Y axis on their comparison chart against the 580 it would seem that SLI 580 would smack the 6990 like a little bitch.
I like it, and believe it, except for 'Antilles Unlock Switch for Uber Mode' - That is completely out of character with anything AMD have ever marketed before. I'm suspicious, very suspicious.
haha, seriously...taking a page from EVGA marketing FtW!!!
Sigh so would I need an second active display port adapter to replace a 5970? Cause that tacks on another $100.
.
No, Active DislayPort adapters are less than $30 now.

Why would you? It comes with all the adapters you need for 3 monitors. If you already have an adapter, you'll end up with a spare.
only for active DP - single link DVI- not dual link.
