This was very nice of XacTactX(and anyone else that may have) to hook us up! Many many thanks!

Much appreciated XacTactX!

Does anyone think there is a possibility of your steam account being banned for using this key?

I have a few, does anyone want to trade one for another steam game?

You people sadden me. You have a "few" keys that you got for nothing, and already you're trying to "trade" them for games? Seriously? Especially given that certain people have given away what, 50, 60 keys already, free?

Not to be flamey or anything, but if you're just looking to profit, Ebay, or Craigslist, or other classifieds site.

Much appreciated XacTactX!

I've been wondering about this as well.

I don't think they'll ban your account. Probably lock it until the key is removed or something, if the keys do get deactivated.

Are you saying not asking for something in return for a trade is a necessary condition for when someone gives away the same item for free?

I dont think so, it's their error. Worst case scenario (in my mind) would be them invalidating your key.

Well, depends on your definition of "wrong" from a moral or technical standpoint. I'm hesitant to call it immoral, so I'll just say I find it distasteful for people to attempt to make a free buck at the expense of [H] Members. I mean, if we all were trying to get the absolute best price, we wouldn't try to sell our stuff here, at least, I wouldn't. I'd turn to Ebay or Craigslist or some sort of classified service, since it gets more eyeballs.

I think it's fine for people to ask for something in exchange. I just don't agree with the practice, that's all.

Wouldn't an invalidation of key also mean a retraction of payment, thus, locked account?

What did I learn from this? "Free" is a very, very enticing word. I have three left, and would like to keep them for my cousin and a friend. Whoever got a key, enjoy the game or the profit earned through its sale/barter, and whoever did not, eBay has I imagine thousands for $5.

If anyone would like to show appreciation through a donation or a gift, no matter how large or small, it would be appreciated. My paypal is at [email protected] PM me for my address if you are so inclined.

Good day to you all.

For anyone who missed out, people are selling keys on ebay for as little as $2.50.

what did I learn today? piracy is bad but it is ok to ass rape a company if someone screws up.

Just wait for follow-up e-mails, guys.

Well, my friend got a download manager link, but no key. Does the key come afterwards? He's downloading the installer file or something now.

Just remember that that somebody out there today probably lost their job.

Anyone want to sell me a key for cheap or trade for something? I got the goldeneye wii conflict code to trade.

Fair enough.

After these I only have a few left, and Im still open to steam key trades :)

Given that it was an nvidia error I don't think anything will happen with steam

Thats life. Wonder how many people at Intel or their vendors are going to lose their job over the faulty SB parts?? Thats supposedly gonna be 300-700mil for that issue!

I am guessing the keys cost nvidia about $1 piece so I don't think anyone got fired. Probably just talked to. Nvidia kept their CEO when he screwed up Fermi's communication between departments and caused a late release. He probably caused a minimum of a couple million loss in revenue by showing up empty handed against the new AMD GPU generation for six months.

I'm glad you're doing your share. :)

Probably nobody. You don't go around firing your top engineers just because they screwed up. Good engineering is somewhat different from mistyping a number into an inventory system.

I highly doubt it too. I mean they can't shut down my steam account which I have many games because of their fault?

Anyone felt like pm me a key? I am not at home so I can't activiate the key even if I see them right now or sell one to me cheap><. Thanks in advance.

I've made mistakes in life.

I've also paid for *every* one of them.

I have no sympathy, it's just a tough break for them.

Would love a key if anyone had one left, couldn't get any before because I was in school. :(

I don't feel bad for NVidia. They can certainly afford to toss $100,000 down the drain, no problem. I don't think anyone ought to lose their job because of it.

Update: Steam is revoking all keys it seems.
The game is no longer on the library list.

Same, went to resume my dl, and it wouldn't go. Went to the product page and it didn't say I owned the game, like it would for something you already own, and it wasn't in my games list.

LMAO. No one has to send me anything, you can't appreciate something you didn't get. Well, those are three hours of my life I'll never get back :p.

I tried to register the remaining codes I had left, all three said duplicate product code has already been activated. Well, that sucked.

Ouch. Painful. :/

I wonder if the people with the download manager version are suffering the same fate?

Damn I wish I worked in a freakin Office so I could hawk deals instead im out delivering your crap while you get all the free crap. PM me if you wanna hook up a disgruntled fedex driver.
