I would imagine it's rather uncomfortable unless you have very large hands. If you want a claw grip mouse, you should look at something like the Logitech G9x instead. The Sidewinder mice are best suited for palm grip.How is the sidewinder X8 with a claw grip?

The Logitech drivers are excellent. Alternatives? Off the top of my head, the Alienware TactX, Steelseries Xai, Zowie EC1 or EC2, most Razer mice (although the only one I'd consider is the Deathadder since most of their products use the mediocre Phillips Twin-eye laser sensor).How are the logitech drivers? And is there an alternative to the G9/x?
I think HP had a branded version of that mouse as well.I got an ideazon reaper edge and really like it. I noticed ASUS branded a mouse of the exact same shape. Someone at a lan party had it.
