oh ok, I am trying to find them on craigslist for cheap but no luck! Hopefully I can find the older jerker for cheap, the longer version

Why not build your own desk? I did. It's 1.5 Meters exactly. Only 0.75" thick because it's supported by the wall. Looks fantastic.

I don't know why I never posted pics before. I built it to support my 2007/3007/2007 setup, but now I'm probably going to get two more 3007's.

Is it easy to do? I haven't built too many things by myself. Maybe if I asked a buddy whos done it before to help me.

How can you guys afford 3x 30" LCDs?

Some people live in parts of the country where real estate costs next to nothing, so they can splurge, have large mansions, fancy cars and the latest and greatest computer accessories without being independently wealthy.

Me? I'm a pretty well paid engineer with 7 years of experience, but I have to struggle to make ends meet and drive a used car with over 100k miles on it just so that I can afford the mortgage on my sub 1000 sq ft condo. (half of a two family town house).

I wouldn't give it up for the world though. If I had to live where real estate is cheap I'd probably shoot myself in the face.

You can also do it on the cheap if you slowly accumulate 30" panels over the course of a year and hold out for good deals on panels with minor screen scratches.

This + 1 (I work at burger king, I live with my parents, I'm 18) Plus I'm not going to lie, I used scholarship money to buy 1.

You can also get a couple used. I saw a 30" Dell on Craigslist for $400 in NYC a month ago.

Better yet, put them on no-interest credit card plans (6, 12, 18, 24 months). If you have steady income, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Back in 2008 on a $20 48"x20" Target folding table :)

A new addition in 2010 - same table

having an older sibling who's company gets 17% off dell monitors helps too. My u2711 has failed on me 3 times so far. I've had it since April 19th ish dell is giving me a full refund of the purchase price. Think im going to pick up a u3011 for 1255. Only a 235$ price difference than what im getting back from the u2711.

Got my HP ZR30W today - had to wait over three months for it to become available here in Portugal... Damn HP!

Now I finally have 3 x 30" screens: two LGs W3000H and the HP ZR30W, connected to my 5970 via Displayport. Anyway, here are the new photos (you can see photos of the old setups by checking my profile and searching my posts):

Following the tradition of that other guy here who also posed with his monitors: ;)

The ZR30W is the center monitor and his shared between my two PCs, as it has two input ports (DVI-D and DP) and a Source toggle button. Getting this to work was one of the reasons why I waited for the ZR30W instead of just getting another LG with a DP -> DVI-D active adapter.

Haven't tried setting up Eyefinity yet. I confess I'm really curious to see how my Radeons 5970 + 5870 in (tri)Crossfire will handle running Crysis in Eyefinity mode at 7680x1600. :p
