Ars? Interesting that the link has a fatwallet referral in it. Guess this is getting passed around like a case of chicken pox.
Add another $50 in parts and you got a $200 fighting stick.
But in practice you'll quickly find that it doesn't unless you have an Intel OHCI capable USB controller. I bought the more expensive stick when it went on sale at GameStop for $89 and it worked for one day on my PC and then it never worked again. However, it's fine on my PS3. Forum posts indicate that if you don't have the OHCI controller, you need to buy a pci USB card that does have an OHCI controller. I have yet to try this out to verify for myself. The cards are like $12 or so on Newegg. I believe Rosewill makes it.They're just USB, seems like they should work.
for the guys who know/care, should I use my octagonal plate or square plate for the sanwa? I'm getting conflicting opinions based on what I can see on the net, I suck with both
Dammit. I really wish I could have gotten in on this deal for my first stick. Looks like I'll be continuing to use the keyboard
if i can find a few at B&M i could box one up and ship it if you're interested.
