New Lian Li PC- Q11 itx case : Specification & Feature

Was it at the "new low price?" Surprise! It seems to now be $30 less than at launch, just like my PC-T7R.

No it isn't. I bought it the first day Newegg added it and the current price is the same price I bought it for (excluding the red color). UPS just dropped it of an hour ago and the case is a beauty. I just wish Newegg would double box cases.

anyone got some photos of the q11 with installed hardware?
want to see the dimensions and how many space is left to the front when a PSU is installed.
i hope there is enough room for a h50 + a 120mm/25mm cooler

I Wish.. My PC funds got redirected to a SageTV server so I ahvent gotten mine yet. But with the PSU extender I seriously think there will be room. Too bad nobody make a 140mm self contained liquid cooler though. That would be cats meow for this case.

Ah, I forgot that Lian Li got the PSU extender.
Maybe I order a red one as soon as available in germany (29th sept)

Thanks for the hint

Cables too longggggg:D

Internal case: very little space!!

Now I am waiting new gpu, cpu (?) & ram Low Power :D

its sexy small.. I love the clean designs of lian li cases & this one just shows it off.

silverstone appears to be offline.. I will have to check later. If it does though its news to me, but good news.

Edit: site works now & it sure as hell does include it.. Thats sweet for this case. Looks like you can easily fit an h50 on a 140mm to 120mm fan adapter up front.

If I had known that adapter came with it I would have gotten that instead of the silverstone strider 650 that I can get the pp05 short cable kit for. I am planning to use the PSU & short cables along with the Lian Li PSU extender to hopefully fit wither an h50 or a coolit eco in the front.

Hmm I should totally trade my Seasonic X-650 for that PSU and a little cash. I'd lose the modular cables but would gain in space and efficiency. Only running a SSD and 3 HD.

I think you can get most of the space with the Lian li psu extender

I figure that its in the back and with a right angle power cord won't add much id any overall depth.

I dont have a good camera but i got at the moment Q07 and gonna buy a Q11 when it gets released in sweden, about a month. My rig at the moment is DFI MT36 p55, i5 750, gtx 460, AXP 140, PSU extender from lian li, BeQuiet SFX 350w and a SFX to ATX and i must say its great! the idle temperature for the Videocard is about 36C and about the same for the CPU.

It doesnt look bad with the extender and with it, there is so much more free froom and makes it cooler.

You got a 460 in a q07?

Yea, I got a GTX 460 in my Q07. Its a gainward 1gb model and its 18.9CM if i remember correctly and its powerconnectors is on the side.

wow.. I diddnt realise that they made any that small. With that card I would stick with the q07 unless you need more hard drive bays. I really likes the size of the q07, but the best card I could find to fit was a 5750 (or powercolor 5770). so I upsized to a larger case.

I had a 5750 until it died on me, greyscreen, and thats when i found the gtx460 that would fit. the problem is i needed to unmount the USB slots at the front to fit.

what's the diference between Q11 and Q07?

Ultimately.. Size.. The basic design is really similar, but the q11 is jsut a little taller & a little deeper. Thus its got room for a little bit more length in the video cards & room for a 2 slot video card without having to modify the case & without loosing your 3.5" hard drive mount. Also the q11 has a fan where the q07 is completely passive cooled. Both are small little buggers, but the q11 is smaller.

If your doing a ITX build with no video card (or a smallish video card) & no more then a single 3.5" & 2.5" hard drive I would do the q07 since its smaller. But for a gaming rig the q07 is just a hair small to be ideal. It will hold at best the smallest of 5770's (power color) & apparently a gainward 460 (which you then have to remove the front usb header due to placement). The q11 is the q07 with complaints from enthusiasts addressed & reworked into a little more gamer friendly design.

So the verdict is that it would be possible to run a GTX460, a H50, 1 3.5" HDD, and a standard ATX PSU in the Q11?

I have yet to actually see the H50 confirmed. Based off the pictures of every angle I can find I think using a 140mm to 120mm fan adapter. This is assumeing that the PSU is not in the way which would require a SFX PSU or the Lian Li Power Supply Extension Bracket.

If you want to give it a shot though take a shit ton of pictures for the rest of us. I Cant even try till Christmas (damn wife has me on a no computer parts thing from sept 1st till Christmas so that she has the chance of possibly actually getting me something.

Damn.....that PSU extender is expensive :(

That sucks :(

What with the cost of the extender and a fan adapter, it might just be better to get a Q08

But if I do get the Q11 and get it working, I'll deffo get lots of pics :)

The q08 is a MUCH bigger case.. At-least in depth.. I wouldn't choose the q11 over the q08 by basing it off the cost. I would do it based off of wanting the smaller size. To me building mITX is all about putting the most in the smallest space.
