I'm at work, fiancee just opened up and plugged in the Death Adder I ordered for her. She can't seem to find the on-the-fly DPI adjustment and I can't find any good pictures of the mouse that would show it.

Anybody know?

There is no dedicated button for cycling through DPI settings. You have to sacrfiface one of the thumb buttons. (or the scroll wheel possibly)

Ahh... that's too bad. Oh well, she likes it a lot anyway.

Thanks!

She's going to have to install the drivers. From there she can set the DPI for the 5 different profiles, which can be changed by the button on the bottom of the mouse. A bit cumbersome, but it works.

Razer also offers On The Fly Sensitivity Adjustment with their software. It performs similar to dpi switching. Map on of the thumb buttons in the DA software. When you hold it down, you adjust the sensitivity with the wheel. It's not a quick as dpi switching nor can you change the pointer speed as much but you can dial in the perfect feel with it. I use it rather than dpi switching.

What do you mean with "or the scroll whell" ?

I know you must keep touched the thumb button choosed and use the scroll up or down to select the DPI, but not that you must sacrifice all scroll in game ( so no guns changing ? )

What scroll the wheel means is you can change the button assignment in your Razer software to allow you to "while you middle mouse button is pushed down + scrolling down or up to either raise your dpi or lower your dpi"

I am not sure if that setting mess with game settings, on my work pc. I can check when I get home tonight
