There is something extremely creepy about hearing the European Commissioner Neelie Kroes say “digital virgins.”

"There are still digital virgins as I am always saying," European Commissioner Neelie Kroes said, speaking Friday at the Techonomy conference here. One of the big hurdles, she said, is trust. And while the elderly are the least likely to be online, she said that it is not strictly an age issue.

If he knew how many Europeans looked at pr0n then I doubt he would have used that terminology. :p

And while the elderly are the least likely to be online

Most the people on [H] are at least over 30. Shows her doesn't it.

Anyway, this probably doesn't count finland where having broadband is the law. or something. Theres lots of weird people however. I know people in europe that think WAP is the future...

For a second I thought it was saying that 30% of Europeans who go online are virgins.

I know my relatives have just found out about the existence of facebook. Many of them are also still afraid of buying online because they dont think its safe.

you can buy stuff online?

Remember that Europe is a big place with alot of different living standards from country to country.

I'm pretty sure digital virgins is the only way a suicide bomber is going to get their 72.

Fleshed out with the 70% of Americans that are digital dolts, we might just make up a competent species.
