Fellow Forumite Brianmuse recently gave me the great honor of being featured in his tech blog on Desktopped.com.

My system, a triple 30" Eyefinity setup, has taken me over a year and a half and 100+ hours of over-time to piece together. Being your average blue collar worker, getting to make a dream like this come true has been a pleasant surprise. Having it covered in an article is added icing on the cake. Just wanted to thank Brian for his generosity and prompt you all to go check it out and "rate it" for my chance to win some swag (unless of course you have a competing setup on the site). :p

As you all know, these systems are never truly "done", so feel free to give me you input on anything you think I could improve.

Looks great except for the middle speaker. That is a huge eyesore if you ever want to sit back in a chair.

I've had that comment before, and I would typically agree but I'm 6'3". I have to sit nearly 6' away before the speaker starts to obstruct me view.

I am currently house shopping. Once I get a place the plans are to wall mount the monitors which will alleviate any possible issue anyway. Regardless, thanks for the input.

I meant that one looks concave and one looks convex.

Ah, understood, lol. I love them both, but the MS Natural 4000 is my favorite. I'd keep the ramp under it all the time (much more comfortable typing), but it doesn't work well while gaming. I'll always own a ergonomic keyboard. I can hardly type on anything else now.

this thread should be closed, you should be banned. I-hate-you.
love your setup man, e-mailed it to some friends when you first posted it in that LCD show thread and will email those again.

do i see a pair oh hd555's? im impressed :)

Good eye! But those are a pair of HD595's. I also have their PC350's for gaming. Love them both.

looks good, but don't you think the giant front speaker is a bit... giant! and in front of the monitor!

and holy moly, if those are your kids. you must have had them when you were their age!

The top of the center speaker is sloped down, so it does not obstruct my view (that and I'm 6'3"). With three 30" monitors, I wanted something that was fairly proportional anyway (hence the tall sides). Personally I love 'em.

As for my age... I'm older then I look. :D My daughters are 20 and 16, the oldest of which I had when I was 22. ;)

Amazing. I wish I had disposable income right now.

Indeed. Getting harder and harder to come by without living at work (even then).
