the kimchi noodle bowls are one of my favorites.

wish that Amazon wasn't my last resort for finding the stuff, though.

You try Chinatown? There's a ton there, I'm Chinese and we stay away from that garbage so they're usually always in stock.

Yeah, that's a great idea, except that the nearest decent one is Boston and that's about a 7-hour drive for me.

Also why I hate deals on Frys and the like.

neoguri is the best. it's also the spiciest.. throw in some chopped up green onion and a egg and you're good to go. these are much different than normal 6 for a $1 ramen. I would recommend the chajang myung also. (sp)

Learn to make your own! Real noodles destroy that dried/fried noodle garbage!

If you've never tried these before they're HOT AS HELL.That said, they are one of,if not the best Ramen money can buy.

As far as packaged Ramen goes, yeah. Nothing beats a bowl of fresh, authentic Ramen, though.

Of course authentic ramen or udon is better, but convenience is the major selling point of instant food.

I always have some on hand. I'm so glad that stuff like this is easily obtainable where I live. I can't imagine ordering it online.

chajung needs to be made thick and pasty and not soupy so remove most of the water. It's a little hard to mix but do it for a while and it will turn out. I find that if I put a few drops some sesame oil it mixes better. (however real black bean sauce would be better) Chop some cucumber in slivers and chunks of meat to throw in too. It's not as good as the real stuff my mom used to make but it at least helps me remember the flavor. :) this is one of my favorites if made right. You can get wet noodle at the asian store that's already ready to go with a little boiled water.. little more expensive but the included sauce is a little better. (but it can't last a nuclear winter like the packages noodles can) :D

one of my friends told me about this deal yesterday. Anyway, I have way too much instant noodles at home to jump on this. I fear my health is gonna be screwed from eating too much of it. Wait.. is eating an average of 2 instant noodles a week bad?

throw in some eggs or meat. ;) My mom used to throw in hotdogs. heh

Dude....mine too! lol...but it's not hot dogs. It was like those Vienna sausages though. It was like my afternoon snack before I headed out to play with friends.

Nonetheless, this seems pricey to me as a Canadian. I could pick up a package of 6 for $3 on sale regularly at different stores. But indeed, I've stopped eating these. It's not very healthy once you read the package.
