Hardware to accept WiFi and send out ethernet cable?

Sure there are. It's called a wireless bridge although most manufacturers like to call it a wireless gaming adapter. But I wouldn't buy any of them for stability reasons.

Will be a nice 5 port wireless bridge and stable as hell. I have been running these for years without ever having to reset them. Before you go shooting down the idea with it being too complicated, I assure you, a complete noob could knock this out in a few hours if they just followed the directions.

I was under the assumption that those only broadcast wireless to receiving computers not receiving wireless from another WiFi wireless and sending out wired.
 
Out of the box you are right, but running dd-wrt changes all of that and allows it to be a wireless 5 port switch.

dd-wrt is a great option. I've also been successful with the tiny, cheap single-port ASUS WL-330gE that can do it out of the box.
 
So I'm looking through the build features and can't determine what I want to do is called. What do I look for? I want to know if I should install the standard build because for that Linksys I need to start with the mini.

FYI, a Cradlepoint router like p0lish suggested would allow you to plug the MiFi's USB into the Cradlepoint and it would act like a regular WAN connection (just like plugging a cable or DSL modem into a regular router). The Cradlepoint then provides internet access through the MiFi to your entire LAN, just like a regular router would share your cable/DSL. The MBR900's MSRP is $150.

Using a wireless bridge, the MiFi itself will be acting as the router for any devices connected to your LAN (via the MiFi's wireless or the wireless bridge). The bridge is essentially just a wireless-to-wired adapter.
