ATI Radeon HD 5850 1GB OEM 229.49 after BCB

Really tempted at this price since NewEgg is still gouging.

Bit and for 227.49, you can't really go wrong, it's basically $100 less than it would've been with NewEgg.

Can't talk myself into it. It's a sad day for gaming when my Lowly GTX275 can handle anything out.
 
Damn where was this deal a month ago when I settled on the 5770. Buy before they're gone guys
 
tempting...but i think i'm gonna hold out for a 5870. doesn't seem like a good enough jump from a hd4890.
 
I'm not sure if I should wait for fermi's to come out. The Radeon 5000 series prices are way over MSRP and they'll probably drop down to what the MSRP is once the fermi's do come out which is around $250. I'm sure we'll eventually see a good deal around $170-$180 once the $250 price is the norm.

? - msrp for a 5850 is $279, not $250. I think you're going to have to wait a while before it gets down to the $180 range. This is a great deal and anyone in the market for this level of videocard should jump on this before it goes OOS.
 
I bit on 2. I will have crossfire 5850s next tuesday :D. This deal was too good to pass up on.
 
Strange, the price is 269.99 when I add it to cart. There's nothing in the tax entry, so where did the extra $10 come from?
 
Yea, looks like they hiked the price $10. It's still showing $259 on the description page, but shows 269 in my cart
 
eh, on second though I think I'm gonna pass, Fermi supposed to be out in 2 days and I really wanted a 5870 anyway. Was gonna buy it but the extra $10 was the final nail in the coffin.
 
Damn just missed it. Looked one second and it was the $269.99, then went in through bing cash back and "THIS ITEM IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE"
 
I thought ATI stopped making oem cards around the 9000 series. They used to be the only way to go, all the other ati card makers at the time sucked..
 
I ordered mine through Tigerdirect while they were still there... only 10% BCB, but no sales tax through them. Now that I think, I wish I would have ordered 2. Oh well. Already have a tracking number.

*edit* I've been lusting after eyefinity ever since I went to the AMD event that Kyle put together in Dallas last year. Now I just need to get some more monitors!
