Best weapon ever?

The portable nuke in Fallout 3 was pretty neat. Although for cool I cannot pass up the Red Ryder BB gun.

The original Unreal razor launching gun. Being able to bounce the rounds off walls and dismember the enemies was epic.

the poison arrow in "killer quake" quake mod. I made so many people cry with that weapon. You shoot them once and their screen goes all goofy. You shoot them multiple times and they can no longer control their char and the screen does goofy things and then their arms pop off and blood comes out or some shit. It was awesome.

The Land Shark Gun from Armed and Dangerous - Fires a baby shark in the ground and you see a shark fin cutting through the ground waiting to eat the bad guys. Hilarious!

It's hard choice... so many good ones but I'd definitely chalk one up for the Devastator in Duke 3D. I loved those things.

AK47 & "Deagle" from CS.

Railgun from Q2 comes in a close second, but I never was amazing with it.

QUAD BARREL RIOT SHOTGUN from Shadow Warrior

buriza from diablo 2...during patch 1.08 or 1.09, don't remember

Duke Nukem laser tripwire bombs. I loved watching folks thru the cameras as they ran over the bomb and then got blown to bits.

lol Yeah, those were pretty cool (hell, all the weapons where pretty badass in duke 3d)

It makes me sad that we'll probably never see a proper sequel.

remote detonated pipe bombs from Duke3d, someone really needs to redo for a modern game....

Rainbow 6 Vegas and Vegas 2 had remote detonated plastique packs. You could also put little laser sensors on them that would alert you when someone walked by, so you would know when to set them off. It was great fun.

The Master Sword after being upgraded by a magical dwarf blacksmith. Oh wait this is PC gaming...

Pretty much every weapon in Crusader: No Regret (dating myself). Melting, freezing, disentegrating...good stuff.

And the Hand Cannon from Action Half Life.

I'm going to say the P90 in MW2, but that's only because I'm an overly huge Stargate fan and being able to use them in a game is supremely fun(We really need a Stargate game that is made kind of like Mass Effect, only using the Stargate instead of a ship). If I overlook my geek choice, I'm going to have to say the Flak Cannon from the UT series. The first weapon I always go looking for.

id say the one i loved the most, despite being a little slow, but devasting on light armor was the disc launcher from Tribes. it was nice to see it in all the tribes games.

Doh! Beat me to it! I was going to post this, but wanted to check the thread first.:D

The cross bow from HL2; gotta love the red hot rebar shots that pin guys to the wall.

Also, the freeze gun from Duke Nukem 3D was pretty damn slick.

My all time favorite is a knife.
Running up and snatching a soldier, drag them in the corner and slitting their throat feels too good.

Maybe not the best weapon of all time, but I'm suprised the C4 packs from BF2 didn't even get a mention yet. Such versitility and capacity for sheer bastardlyness. :p

The Angry Kitty from NOLF2. Speaking of...does this game work in Win7? It's been far too long since I replayed this masterpiece.
