What would cause PoE to stop working?

I have a Cisco 3560 PoE switch that is powering a few Cisco 1130g access points. We had a power outage which drained our battery backups so the switch turned off which then turned off the access points.

When the power was restored to the switch, it no longer powers the access points. I need to hook the A/C adapter up to them.

I looked at the config and nothing has changed in terms of power settings.

Any ideas?

I had two 3560 PoE switches "die" on me at different times, but the switching side kept working. It was only the PoE functionality that died. I believe it's a separate module in the switch that apparently is more susceptible to problems.

In my case, one was caused by a power outage as well. The second one died because I had some cablers taking down cubes and they were cutting the wires in the cubicles. Those cables were still plugged into the switch. That also killed the PoE part of the switch.
