The Lian Li Gallery

I had some old parts from my last case and decided to move those parts into this new case. This my first aluminum and Lian Li case. I am very satisfied with the qualtiy and build of this case. I went from a Silverstone TJ03 case to this one.

This is actually my very first custom build. I forgot to resize and stuff before I uploaded

I see everyone's getting the MSI P55 GD80 motherboard. I'm thinking of building an i5 rig soon. Should I get the MSI GD80 motherboard or the Biostar i55 motherboard????

@timmimd
Fronts, Sub -> Venue Series (Stadium, SUB10)
Center -> ES Series (ES25C)
I didn't post the Rears -> Control1Xtreme, I use them as Zone B as well, with the SUB10 (2.1) they have a great fidelity for my ears.

PD: Last week I bought a Dominator GT kit:

I'm thinking in turning the True in a vertical position (east - west), with a Panaflo instead a S-FLEX, what do u think guys?

go for 1850rpm Scythe Gentle Typhoons. they have awesome airflow/dba. panaflos are good but they're way too loud for normal computing.

East to west is the best way.. that way it blows the hot air right to your exhaust fan behind the heatsink.

Mini ITX PC-Q7... I basically hacked up the PSU and took out all the connections I didn't need and shortened all the cables for a VERY VERY tight fit.

Started off with a whole bunch of spare parts just lying around...

Added a 120mm intake fan...

I love your case. next thing you should do is get some 90 degree clamps to make the hose path look better. Other than that, that is an amazing case.

That is awesome man, how are your temps on your cpu/gpu?

Thanks... It basically idles at 38-40 and max's out around 62-64. The OC isn't the greatest but I am a bit weary to push it because it is pretty hard to get to the CMOS connector if I need to reset the board.

All of that and you didn't get a 3rd dimm for triple channel?

Still awesome though.

looks clean man- great job....Any overclocking on the CPU? If so Temps?

No overclocking yet (if you were referring to my system/post)

I was initially doing a 1156 build, but decided against it at the last minute (already bought the 2x2GB ram well beforehand). Will definitely be getting a triple channel kit next month.

You shoulda got the red v351.

Unfortunately, the store I bought it at was only able to get black and silver :(

nice case thaddeus.cto... would've looked perfect of those cards were blue instead of red. :)

I'm loving your entire setup transporter... clean!

Thanks for the comments!

@EazyM3: I agree. I'm thinking about some painting action if I don't buy two 5870s first :)

Here are some up dated pics. I still need to do some better cable hiding, but I got the 8 pin mobo connector out of the way. It looks a lot better.

Now I want to sleeve my other right-angle SATA connector for the DVD-ROM drive, and cut the SATA power connector off and put a right-angle connector on that as well. But the right-angle SATA power connectors use teeth to bite in the wires, and it is an absolute PITA to install. Any advice on how to get those types of connectors onto the cable?

Updated wiring:

I "just" got this exact same LanCool to replace my Lian Li and love it! It's tool-less, great air flow, black interior, excellent cable management, and ONLY $99!

Looks great 2m*.

The only con on this case is the ugly looking side panel window. I can't find a single place that sells this compatible window for it... Anyone?

This looks much better... I just can't get over the red with all the blue. I have the same problem with my blue Gigabyte board and red PSU and GPU. It drives me nuts. I tried taking apart my card last night, but I feel like the 5770 is going to break apart! :mad:

Thanks EazyM3! I'm going to paint the red part on the video card coolers. I wish there were something I can do about the SATA connectors. Maybe some black vinyl or something. We'll see if I can come up with something.

Just finished transferring all my old stuff into the new case. I went from a Lian Li PC-7B and have no regrets. ;) I added a pair of Gentle Typhoon AP15s in a push pull configuration on a Cool Master 212 heatsink. My q9550 is OC'd to 4.0Ghz stable an is still super quiet. :cool:
