Choice between DDR3 for new i7 build...

I need to poll the experts on this one since I'm definitely out of my league on this one. It appears that the prices for DDR3 triple channel memory went back up. So I checked the "reviews" on newegg. Came up with 3 options with good reviews right around the same price point and "timings". I can't afford the Corsair which is $190. Can you help me choose which...

System Specs: i7 920, Asus P6T V2 Deluxe

Just note: You should use ZZF + Bing Cashback to get best price for that memory.

It'll bring it down to about $100 for 6GB. Reason memory went back up was because of above.
 
Thanks benjus. I appreciate the info and I'll probably go that route. While the cost is always important, I'm really looking at 3 OCZ products within 5 bucks of each other and trying to determine which one is the best. I suspect the platinum memory is the way to go, but I thought I'd poll the experts first.
 
I have the 6Gb Gold kit you linked to, however when I bought it it was $100 before a rebate. So far, the heatspreaders are a lot more solid and heavy then they look in the pictures and it's run just fine at it's rated speed and voltage. It seems to be that a lot of people say the OCZ memory is binned higher than it should be and even it's rated speed is too much for it, so I'll have to see if these sticks last.
 
That was weird. Price changed in the middle of the day for a "today's deal". I'm not a paranoid man by nature, but it sure makes me wonder if someone read my post and needs to get that out of their inventory.
 
I'd go with the XMP kit. I have both the XMP kit and the Platinum kit. Overclocking is so much easier when you don't have to touch the memory settings/timings/voltages.

You have 2 different kits in your machine now? If so how is that running? Gskill ram i got now is not made anymore and no one has it, i want to stick another 6gb down the line, it looks like ill have to go with a different kit, dont want any compatibility issues with 2 different kits
 
Friends got a set of platinums, but if the XMP kit is a few bucks cheaper, I'd grab them. I found the platinums locally on craigslist a week or so back for 80$. Try your local craigslist first! :)

No, I use the Platinum's as backups and use just the XMP version.
 
I was going to say buy the OCZ Blades 6-6-6-24 Super Low Latency kit because Amazon had them for $154, but they fixed the pricing glitch this morning and they are back at $400 :(
