Logitech Illuminated Keyboard $34.99 AR @ the Egg, free shipping

Hmm maybe its time to change my Logitech 510 model after all. hate MIR though

Even at $54 (free shipping, too) that's an amazing price for this excellent keyboard.

best keyboard ever, if mine broke and it cost $120 to buy i would buy it...The thing is awesome. I can never go to something else now

I got mine after the last deal ($70 - $30MIR) and I love it! I wasn't sure how I'd like the low-profile keys, but they work very well, are virtually silent, and the board itself looks very stylish. Highly recommended.

I was going to post this deal if I didn't see this thread. Amazing deal to anyone that wants a new keyboard. I paid $75 for my first one and $50 for the second and was very happy with both purchases. $35 is an incredible price for this keyboard.

Damn, they just keep dropping the price on these. I wonder if an upgrade/replacement is coming out soon?

Paid $40 AR for my first one, and I'm with the others...this keyboard is so good that at $35 I'm tempted to pick up a second!

This is a great keyboard if you like laptop style keys that are clicky. I bought one during the last deal on it at Newegg for $40 AR. I think I like the wireless Logitech diNovo for Notebooks that I just got the other day better though.

Amazon now is offering the same deal. Get in on it while it lasts!

had both, and i definitely like the illuminated better.

gaming wise, the lycosa is better. overall awesomeness/typing the illuminated is better.

i still get that phantom key block crap, but read that it was fixed with newer versions.

( used to play wow, and i pressed like 20 keys at once so i would notice it )

I've had the illuminated for a month now and I love it except one thing...

Why did they have to recess the arrow keys lower than the rest of the keys? I find it really hard to hit the right one without looking down at the keyboard. Never had this trouble with any other keyboard. UH!

Well I don't play any games that require heavy key-pressing button-phasing ordeals. :p

Would this keyboard work for steam games such as TF2?

Oh, I'm using an original G15 Keyboard but this illuminated keyboard looks pretty neato.

I don't see why it wouldn't work for gaming. Every non-NKRO keyboard is going to be susceptible to blocking to some extent, but when I was researching this keyboard I only saw one total review for it where someone had a problem.

The other 99.99999% of reviews seem to be ravingly positive, so I'm inclined to agree with them. If I hadn't fallen for the even-more tactile (and ergonomically weighted) keystrokes of my Keytronic Designer P2, I'd probably have a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard.

Amazon also has the same deal for anyone buying from CA, no tax!

Haven't run into any problems here in TF2, L4D, or CS: S.

To throw in my $0.02:

This keyboard has a short physical key height and low top cup (like a laptop). This makes it hard to feel, at least for me, where your fingers are positioned key wise. I didn't/don't have this problem with my normal laptop keyboard, only with this Logitech illuminated one. Go to the local Best Buy and check one out there thoroughly before you order. I was getting a lot of double or extra characters in my normal typing due to ending up between keys.

This keyboard also reportedly suffers from key blocking so if you are a fast touch typist it may cause you problems with missing characters or screw you up with multi-key combos in programs or games. I was able to duplicate the key blocking during testing but never ran into it during normal use for the week that I used the keyboard.

It also has a hinge type key mechanism that is common on laptop keyboards that will make it extremely hard to remove and clean under any key tops should you ever need to.

this is a very hot deal, this is the BEST keyboard for gaming.

I agree... I don't have the problem so much with the regular letters, but numbers, insert/delete/arrows keys/etc...

It's a HUGE problem for me... I'm looking for a replacement. I also type on a laptop 50% of the time and do not have this problem.

Best keyboard for gaming... not by a long shot. Who told you that?

I was being sarcastic, people on here are spending $100 bucks on keyboards and still getting owned by a $7 microcenter keyboard.

sorry I didn't hear the sarcastic inflection in your voice

It's currently my favorite keyboard. I wish they had the sale when I was buying it.

I love the feel and the flat-ness. Having a three brightness setting is awesome, too!

this keyboard is awesome. replaced my saitek eclipse ii, and prefer it over my razer pro|type

Mine just came in - this freakin keyboard is awesome. I don't think I'll ever go back to a standard keyboard now. Oh, and my previous keyboard was a Keytronic.
