The first picture shows how it looks like at the moment:

The second picture shows the corners being sharp instead of round:

Would you know of a tweak that can do that ?

Thank you

If I'm not mistaken, the bottom picture is Windows 7 and the top is Vista. So the easiest way that i can think of is installing Windows 7. Other than that, you may be able to download a Windows 7 theme and use it with some kind of skinning software.

The top is Windows 7 ... just made this screenshot a few minutes ago.

And yes, there's a theme, but I thought there was an easier way than installing a theme.

Hmm ...

Thank you very much Azhar, I have just read through this long step-by-step guide, but I thought that was rocket science.

To travel around the world just to buy some milk ? Meh ...

I was confused at the end of the instructions too when it talked about multiple Aero entry in your Visual Styles properties. It was saying select them and try each until you find your new style. I scratched my head on that one and looked in my Visual Styles properties, and sure enough there were two Windows Aero in it. Even though the sample picture shows the original Aero, one of them is actually a custom one you put into the Resource folder.

In cartons with square corners, no doubt... :D

Ha! When I read you comment, I was just putting a cup of freshly squeezed milk to my lips but had to stop because of a laugh attack .. :p

If I get myself together, I might be able to continue my life WITHOUT sharp corners though, but ... meh !

Hi, I guess there is still no way to modify the corners of windows ?

Has anyone experience with Vista Style Builder ?

Hope it's compatible with Windows 7 x64.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a few Windows 7 visual styles with square edges. Just search at deviantart. Customization>skins and themes>Windows 7 utilities.

I remember doing this during the BETA with a 3rd party application, I cannot find it anymore though. Does anyone know how to do this without the visual styles + dlls ?
