I have seen that these are supposed to come out in April... the 955, 945, and 925. Whats the latest news on these buggers?!?!

lol not a chance they are legit.. wait til they show up on newegg.. and why would it have to match i7 performance..? the i7 is under prices on purpose because intel controls everything including the only working northbridge for the processor.. thus they make profit by over pricing the northbridge platform to the board manufactures and slightly under pricing the processor to make it look like its a better deal then it actually is.. id say the 955 will probably sell for around 250ish.. cant remember what the msrp was for the processor..
because at that price if I want to upgrade to DDR3, I could get an intel mobo for under $200, and all of a sudden the price difference for a i7 setup versus a 955 setup is less than $100...and frankly when you start getting into that slim of a price difference the value proposition greatly dimishes.
I too am waiting for the 945/955 Phenom II processors to be released. Can't wait to see how well they perform and overclock. I wish they would release the RD890 chipset at the same time as well but I guess I can use the AM3 790FX chipset for now.
