all for 9.99

Pretty much if you were planning on purchasing one of those games, you get the other 3 games free, since the normal price for any of those 4 games is 9.99

Edit: My mistake this isn't the one day ubisoft deal they been doing all week. It appears they canceled the friday deal they were going to do, and instead made the thursday one day deal "extended". This is good for some other people for you are not limited to friday now.

Pretty awesome deal, unfortunately for me I already own every single one of those games, lol.

Ok, I'll be jumping on that one when I get home. I never played Beyond Good and Evil, which looked pretty interesting and had been considering picking up Dark Messiah anyways.

I already got some decent play time out of my purchase of Assassin's Creed for $10 on Monday.

Damn Steam sales.

Wow that's a pretty damn good deal, most of those games are excellent. Might have to bite on this one.

Just a note that it's a weekend deal. Dunno if that means "until" or "through" Monday, though.

FC2 50% off has been extended "through" Monday...

(inevitably someone's still going to wait until Tuesday to buy it, then whine about Steam's sale ending early...)

I'm sold, was thinking of replaying Far Cry and I always wanted to try Beyond Good and Evil.

Great deal!
I didn't end up buying Far Cry 2 because I was pretty meh about it, but this deal is quite something!
Biting as soon as I get home.

Edit: Isn't this the weekend deal? I don't think the offering's gonna end today :D

Great deal. Too bad I already own 3 of those games. :( I would have picked up Beyond Good and Evil if it were $4.99.

Bought it only for Farcry. Heard good things about Good and Evil and the 1946 game is pretty decent. I have no idea about Dark Messiah.

I bit also. I played dark messiah on the 360 and I quit playing after about 30 minutes. Hope the rest are good.

Everyone should buy this for Dark Messiah. It got crappy reviews but it was one of my favorite games when it came out. One of the only single player games I still go back and play through years later. Super fun

Dark Messiah is the only one I haven't really played. It came with my 8800 GTS, and somehow got connected to my Steam account.

Far Cry is of course good, for the most part... Beyond Good and Evil is a pretty good game, although I haven't finished it. And IL-2 is a GREAT game, but only if you have a good joystick and enjoy flight sims.

Dark Messiah is surprisingly fun both graphics and gameplaywise. I picked up the Collectors when it dropped, but it never gathered up enough popularity to be a "big" game.

Also, when it dropped the graphics requirements were pretty horrendous. People nowadays might find their computers more capable of running it smoothly :p

If you already have one of those games can you gift the extra copies?

BTW - any vista troubles with any of these?

I bought it because of beyond good and evil. I never played it and heard great things about it. I'm hoping they will have some sort of splinter cell package this weekend.

I think that only really worked with the Orange Box with Half Life and Ep. 1

But I've played all those games on Vista. Only one I think had some trouble was Beyond Good and Evil, but most of the problems are solvable via their forums.

Dude I think the weekend deal is this game package. That's all.

Short answer is no

You can gift these games if you already own the game and purchase a bundle pack
1. Purchase the “Left 4 Dead Four Pack” on Steam
2. Own “Half-Life 2” and/or “Half-Life 2: Episode One” and then go on to purchase “The Orange Box” or the "Valve Complete Pack"
3. Own “Half-Life 2: Episode One” and/or “Half-Life 2: Episode Two” and then go on to purchase the "Half-Life 2: Episode Pack”

already own farcry and messiah. kinda mad cause I bought messiah couple weeks ago for like 2-5$

but it was worth it for bGE and the airplane thing I guess.

I have to admit Dark Messiah is pretty fun, I love the combat system, its way better than how oblivion have....

but no 3rd person view :S...

overall I suggest everyone to try that game out...

I don't think the publisher would want their games gifted out of packages. It worked well for Orange Box, since people would be gifting away earlier parts of HL2, and those new customers might then buy Episode 2 for example.

Anyways, I jumped on this deal. I had been hoping for a Beyond Good and Evil deal, and I only own IL2 in this package.

:( I was really hoping for a Prince of Persia superpack some time. Having only the most recent at half price and all the other ones normal price was pretty bleh.

Really? Why does it have the button that says "I'm buying for someone else" when you go to check out on these, then?

The button is there so that you can buy the package/game for someone else's account directly.

EDIT: Bought it for these...

Beyond Good and Evil
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic

Beyond Good and Evil was a good game on the PS2 (I picked it up months ago for $5.99 and beat it).

Also Farcry was good, I never finished the boss off though cause of a format. Too bad I already own these 2, otherwise they would of had a sale. oh well.

I also see a new release of Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death for $7.99, I picked that up for $3.99 at gamestop for the PS2, horrible!!! Just warning others.

As someone else mentioned, you can do a gift purchase for someone else on any games. The question was related to gifting extra copies in a pack if you already own some of them, you can't do that for anything but valve games.

That sucks, I was looking forward to gifting someone my copy of DM to get the other 3.

I bit, now I can play the first far cry and find out why people are so pissed of at the far cry 2 I bought yesterday.

Saw this on Steam.
Dark Messiah alone is worth it.

I beat it a little before 300 came out, and 300 was not violent enough for me.

Oh and it's multiplayer is like diablo meets team fortress 2

Does anybody know if these games all support widescreen? I know far cry does since I already had it.

I'm surprised a lot of people are bringing up Dark Messiah. I don't just follow reviews but most games that get a 6 something on gamespot aren't worth the time if they were free. Hmm... I don't really need that much of a nudge. I do kind of want that Beyond Good and Evil.

Dark Messiah was free on steam just a few weeks ago through that website and the rest of the games look mehh to me.

DM and BGE are games that have interested me but I never got around to them. For $10, this was an easy win.
