Alternative fan setup to Turbo Module for Accelero S1?

I am picking up an S1 to replace my S2 after discovering my new video card doesn't fit. I have the Turbo Module on the S2 and frankly have never much cared for it. The first day I unboxed it, the hot wire dislodged from its fixture and required a good hour's worth of ghetto soldering to reattach, as the fixture cannot be opened. It works, but I wonder honestly how long until it doesn't, and since I'm going to be ordering the S1, I figured if anyone has a better setup that's more reliable or achieves greater performance, I might pick it up.

I believe the S1 is 138mm x 215mm so it seems a 120mm fan should be able to fit on it, or possibly even 2 x 100mm. I assume I would just be left to ziptie these. Anyone try this?
 
I have a 120mm Antec Tricool ziptied to my S1, works fine. Keeps my 8800GT cool on low, highly recommended setup.
 
I strapped a 120mm silent fan to mine and havent looked back.
Dont make the straps permanent so you can clean it easily.
I use tie wraps (not zip ties).

You can fit 2x120mm fan on the S1 if you really feel the need!
 
Thanks guys, I think I am gonna go with zipties on an Arctic Cooling 120mm fan, just to keep matching brands cause I'm OCD like that. :p
 
I don't have any fans on mine directly, just one 120 on the side of my case next to it and it still does very well.
