Well I just recently ordered all of my new build cept a new CPU. Figured I would run my old 4800 till next check and get a new CPU then.
New Build Consists of
ASRock 780GXE
4 GB G Skill Ram 800
Asus 4850 512mb
Antec Earthwatts 500w
Now I was kinda looking at either the X2 7750, or going the quad route, and getting a X4 9850.
Main reason I was looking at a quad was for the fact that I usually have multiple things running in background while using 3DS Max, and photoshop.
Right now I game at 1440x900, so Im kinda thinking that the x2 7750 would prolly be a better deal? But for games like GTA4 which I plan on playing heavily, would the quad be a better buy?
edit** I know that the new AM3's are right around the corner, but I refuse to drop that much money.. Reason I built an AMD system this time around was to save some moolah.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
