Resident Evil 5 DEMO!!! Xbox360

Tying the account to a pizza hut or ToysRUs in Japan. I'd laugh if they got some calls regarding their live accounts..

I wonder if a PC demo will come out.
 
I signed up for the Japanese account and tried to get the game but it said that the game wasn't available from my current location. They must've put a stop to it. :(

LOL, from what I saw it looks good and fun, kinda reminded me when i played re4 on gamecube with the zombies coming from all directions. the guy on jtv had someone else who was in chat join him for Co op and they jumped from one building to another and the zombies jumped too, and then some zombies climbed up a fence next to the building and came right over fence towards them, sadly I didnt get to see a whole lot of the demo but it looks good!
 
They caught on to it today or the other day and region locked it, so don't bother with this.
 
Just signed up for one. Name: Flied Lice. I'd love to see if dominoes gets called asking for flied lice. :D
 
You can still download the demo and put it on to a data disc. I wont go into specifics because it's kind of a gray-area thing, but it can be done.

Curious how this is a grey area? MS is perfectly okay with you burning demos (otherwise you wouldn't be able to). Am I missing something?

They obviously try to stop people from circumventing region lockout, so that's probably not in fact, ok with them.

AHH! I forgot about that. Grabbing it now. I loves me some port 119. :D

If thats the case then why don't they... oh... I don't know... maybe implement region locking? I'm playing the demo right now on a US console. No black magic, no leet hacking skills, no signing up for any japanese accounts...


Edit: This game looks okay, but oh god the controls :( I guess I was looking for that same :eek::eek: the first time I played RE4.
 
Aiming is really sluggish. The fight with the chainsaw guy saw me turning around to run, turn back to try and fire once, then turning to run, rinse lather repeat. I eventually ran out of running space and was promptly decapitated. With RE4, even though enemies were all over the place, aiming was quick and precise.

Also the inventory screen... what the hell? I have an hdtv and even I can't quite see whats going on due to the size and washed out colors.
 
I had some difficulty aiming as well but I figured it was because it had been so long since I played RE4.
 
Looks like I might have to sign into live to play the demo. Um, don't wanna get banned, no thank you.

2.) why would you get banned?

I've been downloading and burning demos to disc for about a year now due to the poor internet connection I have in the living room.

I burned the demo, but it doesn't show up in my demos list. I tried buring both the contents folder and creating an iso and then burning that. Both times were burned to CD.
 
What has been you guys' strategy? I haven't played the shanty town yet, just the town meeting one and from the looks of it I'll need to keep moving to keep from getting ganged up on. The first time I played I stuck around in that first house and got murdered and the second time I ran off on to a roof top and I think I killed the big guy with the ax but I got killed after hanging out on that roof too long.

It's kinda pissing me off because they're throwing a ton of people at you and it's very difficult to maneuver fast enough with a stupid gamepad; I'll also run to a clearing and people will just appear behind me when I turn around. :mad:
 
Alright, I completed the town meeting scenario and it was pretty much run and use what you have available to you (explosive barrels) to help wipe out enemies but the basis seemed to be to survive until the helicopter came.

The only thing I HATE is the weapon selection. The game doesn't stop when you're trying to change weapons or heal yourself so you have to do it quick. :mad:

edit: Doh, use the D-pad to quickly change your weapons. That's actually pretty nifty.
 
I don't mind the weapon selection but I don't like not being able to pause and go into the menu to use a herb.
 
Now I'm slightly disappointed. Yeah it looks great and RE4 was good because it was new and fresh, but now it just looks like RE4 with a graphics upgrade. I'm not not excited anymore.They completely took the zombies and the scare out of the game. It's nothing like the what made the old games fun and popular. I don't know if I am getting it. sigh.. :(
