 Prices subject to change without notice.

Dang, I paid $69.99 for that memory back on 10/14.

I bit on a second set to bring me up to 8 GB.

Geez, it seems that RAM prices drop by $5 every week. Kudos to G.skill for not having crappy MIRs too.

I know how that feels... ;)

Newegg will never do that. I had to go to Directron to get decent shipping on case fans. Their shipping for seven S-FLEX SFF21E was only $10.xx. Newegg wanted me to pay almost $4 per fan to ship. Get this. A $2.99 4pin power extension cable at Newegg costs $7 to ship, even with almost an entire new build in my shopping cart.

They say shipping costs are per individual items, but that shipping costs will usually even out if combined with other items. Except when the items are small. The smaller the item, the less shipping costs budge, even if you have a bunch of heavier components in your cart.

"This guy got a bunch of case fans!"
"Haha."
"I feel bad throwing them into this big box full of other components."
"Oh well."

I don't think this is true at all... I've bought case fans (120mm) this year with free shipping from the Egg... but it wasn't the EXACT case fan I wanted (I wanted a Blue Tripower... ended up with a multicolor). They almost always have at least one case fan in the $7 range with free shipping, at least everytime I look (typically the same multicolor....). Works well, but doesn't quite match in my Antec 900 case.

^^^ This is so true. I'd rather have a decent no rebate price than a even cheaper after rebate price where you pay more upfront

Dearest Newegg,

I came across this thread:

http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1368670

Something about a $500 gas voucher or gas card with the purchase of certain AMD "GAME!" components. I was wondering if you could give us [H] folk the scoop on how that's going to work, and what we need to do. Definitely has the potential to be a very hot Newegg deal, but we're all in the dark as to how it's going to work, or whether it will work very well or not.

Thanks!!

I've been waiting for the price on the 9950 to come down a little, now it's $155 after coupon, can't beat that with a stick, will be picking one up as soon as the site loads for me (it keeps timing out, it's been for the last 2 weeks, what's going on?)

I'm gonna order the 9950BE. Been meaning to replace my 5600+ for a while now, just waiting for a deal like this to come along.

Got the ram. Thanks G.Skill for not doing bullshit MIR's. This is the way to do rock-bottom pricing with no nonsense crap. I appreciate it.

Heck yeah. G.Skill + Newegg = Win!

I picked some of the 1000MHz stuff up without having to send in anything. The stuff is good ram, too. Doesn't like it when I play with the timings, but gives me an easy 1021 on only 1.96v. All 8GB 100% error free in memtest, pass after pass.

I would love to give this lower latency stuff a try, but I have enough "spare" ram now to make three more computers ....

I couldn't get in on the Antec 900 deal....:( Is there any chance that this deal might have a second round? I really need a new case. I have a poor airflow case running 4850 crossfire. Winter time is ok, but a bit warmer and is not good!

I too bought the G.Skill 4 GB for $69 about a month ago. It was then disconted from I believe $120. Runs cool at 1.9v CAS4. But the deal for the same RAM at $45 + the VISTA 64 @ $79 "forced" me to upgrade. Thanks alot NewEgg!

PS Did the same for a 2nd Velociraptor fot $199 for RAID 0.

Just picked up 8GB of the GSkill for under $100. Unheard of! I was disappointed to find that I could only use the "HARDOCP11245" once though. Ended up being $95 shipped.. cant beat the price. Im upgrading my Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 to 4x2GB this GSkill F2-6400CL4D-4GBPI-B. Didn't think I would ever need 8GB but I after seeing my VMware tapout on a regualr basis I knew it was time. Vista 64bit FTW

Thanks NewEgg, Thanks [H]ard!
