Well after deciding that my P180 was a little big for my taste and my QPack too small I ordered a Cooler Master Elite 340 from Directron.com. The case itself came well packaged arriving undamaged via UPS. Here's the specs directly from the box and how they pack it. Pretty standard stuff :eek:

Taking the case out of the box I was impressed with its weight, it's super light. Being a frequent LANer I wanted a lite weight case and this fits the bill. It also has the cooling capability to keep my 8800gts and other components cool while remaining fairly quiet. There are 2x120mm fans as well as a 80mm fan on the side panel. The only real complaint I have is the 3.5in drive bays. With the location of the heat sink on this board I could only fit the stock 5600+ heat sink in there. Also, there is nothing in the way of noise isolation with regards to the hard drive bays so they can be a little noisy.

The PICS!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Overall, I like this case and it's pretty hard to beat for $35.00AR.

Nice pics. Love the case.
I bought this case a month ago and have been modding it slightly along the lines posted by others that you can see in the SFF gallery. Mainly adding a 3rd 120mm fan where the hard drive cage used to be and cutting 120mm size holes for better air flow. Will probably throw some pics up when I'm finished.
Planning on mounting the hard drive suspended on the bottom if all works out.
Ordered the parts this week. Everything arrived today except the cpu because I wanted guaranteed SLACR from clubit and it's still in transit, hopefully arriving tomorrow.

Hoping to get a decent overclock of 3.0, not going to push it as I haven't been blessed with
good clocking cpu's that often. The last long term overclock I had was a Celeron 533A that went to 800 and is still doing fine as we speak.

I've done quite a few builds using that case, and it works well. I hate the front audio jacks (they're not compatible with any new MBs) but other then that it's excellent. There are never any sharp edges inside of the case, CM uses nice thick steel to make it solid and it looks attractive. I always get the version with the power supply, as 350W is usually enough for my clients and it's only $10 extra for a quality PS. As will all mini towers the cooling isn't always what you might like, but with an exhaust fan it's acceptable. I think this case should be on your short list if you don't want to spend the $$ on something like the SG03.

I got that case, too, it's nice, but doesn't really classify as SFF, it's pretty much the full tower of the m-atx world. It was the least ugly one I could find at fry's. [it didn't have huge windows, or ugly "chrome" crap on the front...] I got 6 hard drives in it so far [with room for another 6 easily.]

Hmm I wonder if that's why the front audio won't work on my Asus P5E-VM HDMI. Tried both ac 97 and HD in the bios with no success. Cooler Master was supposed to send me another set of front audio ports when they got them in but nothing yet :(. Other than that a great little case.

My front ports on my case works just fine with my Xonar DX anyhows, not tried the onboard yet.
