Played the demo and while I am interested in the story I was not all that impressed with the talent trees and mainly the control did not seem as fluild as I thought it would be. Anyone else agree/disagree?

I was far more impressed with the other classes... they should have had them all unlocked by default (rather than having to use the workaround). Bargain bin pick up for me I think.

i fell in love with it and see alot of potential so i preordered with a trade in. i was upset because i wanted the extra armor and stuff you get from preordering but the store said that was only for the first 150 people... i cant believe they had that many reordered. so i asked the dude and he said after the demo came out the store was flooded with preorders.

I am surprised that the demo brought more pre-orders. I was really un impressed with the fighting mechanics for one. The game is not nearly what it could have been. Pass.

People like different things I suppose. It's been doing fairly well on pre-order charts but I bet part of that is because it's one of the first games after the summer drought.

I thought my anus could have produced a better game than this. Its like when you take out your sword you put on ice skates too

I only have one question: Is this game anything at all like Eternal Darkness? If it is, then I'm buying two copies. Maybe three. :)

first demo playthrough seemed lame, but the combat is much deeper than one playthrough of 20 minutes will teach you. I'm gonna buy.

I'm extrememly excited about this game. The story is very intriguing to me so far, and the combat is fluid and fun. Learning how to really survive on the battlefield takes a good bit of thought, expecialy when you've got some of those artillary machines nearby.

This brings back the kind of feelings I had the first time I played diablo II

That was my thought as well. The combat is a little strange but some of the skills you unlock with other characters make the game a lot better. The Berzerker is pretty awesome if you like just wading into combat and wasting everything. The Bio-Engineer was also pretty fun and the Defender is an awesome tank.

It's going to be a blast in multiplayer. I just wish they had 4 players on XBL.

I reaaally wanted to love this game, but the demo made me totally lose interest. The controls, the cutscenes and ui just weren't nice. Devil May Cry 4 has better controls than this game.

Sounds pretty mixed here. Too Human was yet another "exclusive" 360 game I was hoping would be great and make it worth my while to get a 360 again...so far most exclusives i've been interested in have come out on pc (which is my preferred platform since, well, i already own it :p)....

Guess I'll wait for the official reviews of Too Human to start rolling in so I can get a broader perspective on it.

YES!

My girfriend bought me the Pre-Order for my bday. <3

But this game isn't Devil May Cry or trying to be that genre. This game shares more with the Diablo series then it does DMC. The controls take a little getting used to and most everyone will tell you it takes about 4-5 playthroughs to really get the hang of things and see the beauty therein.

I'm not getting Too Human for a DMC clone, I'm getting Too Human for a cyberpunk Norse action RPG, dungeon crawling, skill tree'd, large loot tabled slaughterfest that I get to play with a friend. Its really as simple as that.

I'm going to pick it up as soon as it hits the stores. As others noted, I got the distinctive Diablo feel to it and enjoyed playing the demo. I think the biggest problem with Too Human was that expectation was through the roof and it didn't meet expectation. I don't blame that so much on the company making it as much as I do the gaming media and its fans that often get exceptionally excited about some titles and expect far more than is practical.

I mention DMC, because this game feels to me, like DMC with Diabloesque loot/armor system tacked on. I liked the idea of the cyber-punk/norse stuff, but it just feels too poorly executed.

I think I'll manage to hold out for Sacred 2/Diablo III for my 3D hack n slash dungeon crawler fix.

Can't really say anything if that's how you feel about it... but the games are really absolutely nothing alike. :)
