I am having problems with the install. I received 16 digit CD-Keys for both games, but when I install, it asks for a 26 digit CD-Key. Where do I get the other 10 digits?

16 key goes in at Blizzard store.

26 goes in at Game
 
i ordered around 4:30 today and i still dont have my keys...wtf

edit: ...........just got it literally 20 seconds after i posted this lol
 
We need to all join up and run some groups. Need a thread for what server and our account names.

I never did play through with friends. Soloed it all the last time i played, which was like...well damn 6 7 years ago? Has it been that long?
 
TOTALLY legit..paid $4.91 checked email and had keys for both D2 and the expansion instantly...went to blizzard website and registered keys..downloading from digital downloader right now..good deal!

As do I. Great find and thank you very much. In for 1! :D Order successful at 4:15a, keys recieved at 4:29a. Not bad at all!

Put your 16 digit key into the store. Then, on the page with the games you own, click on the link under the game for the game key, and a new 26 digit key is generated for you.
 
what they do with these is these keys is they probibly use them and sell them. you can use the same cdkey and run an account from each realm at a time. im thinking they use them on the asia server, so if you want to use the asia server, be careful.
 
Over 10 hours and I haven't got the keys yet, however I sent an email so everything should be all set.
 
I wouldn't take D2 for -$4.91. It would cost more than to accept that crack!
 
Already ordered 3 more for friends! Got the first set in 20 mins woot.

Feels like they are selling either generated keys or banned keys... 5$ for both LOD and D2 is too good to be true. :rolleyes:

As long as you register them on your bnet and blizzard.com store account all should be fine right ? Mine worked fine and Im guessing these 3 more I ordered will, I got em all already btw.

Ill report back if they have problems with em.

If they were already used, or banned you wouldnt be able to use them on bnet, or to register them with Blizz. I've done both wth two different sets of keys.
 
I just dug out my DII cds and seen this.
Let me get this straight, if I do the digital download of DII from Blizzard I will not need to insert the disc to play?
 
Anyone else have trouble with the LOD installer? I keep getting some stupid error about not being able to authenticate my download. WTF? It's registered on the Blizzard site, plain as day! Am I being dumb, or what? And yes, I'd just contact Blizzard directly, but it's a holiday. Can anyone help me out?
 
Got my keys around 7 hours after ordering. Registered online with Blizzard no problems. I have a feeling they use these keys to level characters or farm items then sell them after a certain time. I hardly ever play on Battle.net, and I have another set of keys if I want to.

From my cd install last night, after updating to 1.12a I didnt need to put in the cd.
 
wow i use to think DIABLO had great graphics

its not so pretty running 800x600 on a 22 inch wide screen

still fun though

haha ya i was thinking the same thing. i forced 16xAF and 16xQAA and it looks ever so slightly better. last time i played this game the graphics were AMAZING...though i guess playing on a widescreen monitor makes it a bit worse than it would be on a standard 4:3 monitor.
 
Looks great on my macbook still hehe, wish I could say the same for my 37" westy. Thank god it plays on 1:1.
 
Wait, apparently they can do credit cards through paypal. Does it really come with Diablo 1 as well like the box says, or it just the box art and it doesn't? :p

I'd buy the whole thing, but I bought the expansion when it was on sale for twice this entire amount at gamestop already when it was on sale, don't wanna buy it again. :p

If running Vista, make sure to right click the blizzard downloader file and run as admin. If this still doesn't work, you can follow Blizzard's advice (I emailed them about this problem months ago):
"This issue is most often caused by a corruption in your user account permissions in Windows. Please follow these instructions to create a new temporary administrative account and attempt the download in that login:

Windows XP:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/winxp/accounts.mspx

Windows Vista - Please follow the instructions for setting up a new user account on a workgroup, not a domain:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/68a1c4fd-b3f6-4cb9-93a1-8a6023836e531033.mspx

Once you have created the user account, please log in and attempt the download again. Once the download is complete, you may delete the user account following the same steps, but selecting Delete instead of Create."


Are the keys now $5.45?
