Windows updates failing

Just recently whenever i attempted a Windows update whether it be express or custom they seem to fail. I try installing one at a time and it has the same issue.

Yes it is a genuine copy of windows, strait from my manufacturer

Ideas?
 
It should be giving an error code. If so search for that, or post it here, as nobody can tell you much without more info.
 
It fails during "Initializing installation... "

all i get is this after the update window closes

no error code nothing
 
i see the turn off computer to install updates button on when i go to restart my computer but i do it and it just comes back
 
Clean out all your temp files and make sure you do have enough free space on the system volume.
