Intel DX38BT, Q6700, 2x HD 2600, Ghost Recon - $399

you are right, thats pretty messed up. the board itself is 230, the chip is 270, then theres two video cards and ghost recon?

also - TD is a pain in the ass with the price mistakes. i just got burned on the e8400 deal from compusa (owned by TD). so id call em to make sure its good b4 u buy it, otherwise they will take forever to refund your money.

"Note: A CPU cooling fan is not included with this CPU. In order to safeguard your warranty and achieve optimum performance we recommend purchasing a new compatible cooling fan."

Thats why its so cheap... doesn't even include a HSF

Its called an oem cpu, they are everywhere. Great price! Anyone got 400 bucks I can have?

Their "recommendation"... What happens if some people don't think it is required and try firing it up without a HSF?

Great deal, I would still sell the video cards and get more money back (and get yourself a nice Nvidia video card:p).

q6700 is $250-270 OEM and I've seen the DX38XT for $200 before, still a hot deal including those video cards and the game. I'd recommend better NB and SB cooling, especially if you do go with the CrossFire and OC.

I have had a bad experience with price mistakes, seems that these companies never honor them.

Their shipping is close to, if not better than NE.

And these aren't price mistakes, these are blowout combos.

I bit on the $400 combo.

I've been looking for a BT2 deal, but this was too good to pass up.
