Vista 64 CPU temperature widgets?

Hey. I've looked all over and I can't seem to find any motherboard monitor/CPU temperature sidebar widgets for Vista 64. What little I have found via Google doesn't seem to be compatible. If they exist, are there any that you guys can recommend?

I've read that there are widgets available when you purchase the full version of Everest.
 
Need one that reads from TAT...also need a way to send TAT to the system tray so it's out of the way and can run it all day long like speedfan and coretemp.

But for my system TAT reports 5C or so warmer than speedfan/coretemp... so I'd rather trust Intel's designed tool =/
 
I'm not aware that TAT is compatible with Vista x64 at all? Also, it's designed for mobile CPUs, not for desktop Core 2 Duos - it will see a C2D as a Pentium M. Since these CPUs don't have an integrated heatspreader, the temperature is slightly wrong.

It does, even the readme file says it explicitly supports Vista x64.

And they wouldn't have have added support for quad-core penryn if was for mobile CPU's only, LOL.

Ah, my comments are about the old version (pre-2.11); evidently it's been updated since then.
 
Another Option Available to You is to Get the Speedfan Program from HERE then get teh Speedfan gadget from HERE. The Benefit of this is that it is NOT platform specific and will give you info on CPU, Case, CPU CORE, and sometimes GPU Temps. I didnt make these, i just use them.:D

TAT is generally considered not accurate...Coretemp or Realtemp, set to show the DELTA REMAINING to TJMAX, is the most accurate. Read up, the info is easily found....

So what your saying is that people on internet forums know more about the internal workings of an Intel CPU than Intel does... right... have fun with that :)

If you would actually research it a bit, you would see that TAT is NOT accurate as an absolute temp measuring program. Don't be so obtuse, go look. If you CHOOSE to be ignorant, fine. If not, that's fine too.

The facts are, Coretemp and Realtemp, when used as I described above, are accurate. Go read the Intel docs...TJMax is the way Intel intended temps to be interpreted.
 
The one thing about Core Temp is that it has a tendency of shutting down my computer if I overclock it (Opteron 170 Vista x32). The problem is documented (link) as a result, I use SpeedFan and take a look at the "Core" reading, which is in line with Core Temps's numbers.
