Vista 64 Home Premium will not recoginize my dual processors after install. Is home premium for a single processor only? I thought Vista would do dual processors?
If this is the case what a cheep OS. If it is for dual processors why can I only be running on one processor? How do I get the other processor recoginized by Vista 64 Home Premium? Any and all help is needed. Thanks.

Right now I am dual booting to Vista 64 and XP x64 each on its own boot disk. XP x64 is working great but Vista is not working like it should and before I certify this computer with the OEM OS I need to get it working properly first or I will put this useless version of Vista on my wife’s computer.

Yeah, I misread this thread the first time (duh...dual PROCESSORS, not dual cores). Unfortunately, you'll need to have something other than the home versions of Vista if you want to recognize both CPUs--most home users don't have multi-processor units, so I guess I see the logic.

Thanks for helping out an old guy with MS.

I guess I missed the no dual processor part.

So now my wife has the Vista 64 Home Premium on a 939 amd.

I just put the ultimate back on.

Thanks again.
