Scythe S-Flexes are awesome, but a little pricey. Yate Loons are also popular.
Same. Only 120mms I could find locally.I've been happy with the Enermax Enlobals, but I can get them locally at a good price.
scythe fans are great an all but waaaay too pricey. there are several different versions of s-flexes that push out different CFMs. I've seen them ranging anywhere from 14.99-29.99.
Yate Loons are the best value. The fan to get from Yate Loon is the D12SL-12 for $3 to $4/ea. Search jab-tech.com for D12SL-12.I've got 3 x 120mm (110cmf) in an Antec Super LANBoy sounding like its ready to taxi down a runway. Any suggestion as to what i can replace them with for a less ear aching while still have decent air flow.
Good information. I did not know that.DONT BUY YATE LOONS FROM JAB-TECH!
or most other places for that matter. The only good Yate-Loons are sold from www.petrastechshop.com.
I just deleted Jab-Tech off my list of places to buy things, and I'm sorry I ever recommened them. A couple bucks more and get a real Yate Loon is worth it in my book. Thanks for the information, and Jab-Tech can go **** themselves.
Just because they don't have the "fancy" Yate Loons, assuming the previous poster is correct, doesn't mean they aren't still a good company worthy of being considered for future purchases. I've used them a few times and had good experiences. Don't trash a reputable company based on one person's comments.
THE BEST 120mm fan I have come across is the Xilence XPF120R Red Wing 120mm Quiet Fan
It pushes 68CFM at 21.2dB !!!
I bought 3 and they are truly quiet and strong.
