wallpaper websites

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death but I've dug around and couldn't find much. Anyone know of any good sites I can get some nice hi-res wallpapers. I get all of mine off of Interfacelift. I really like the layout and its easy to navigate, well organized, etc. Any websites similar to that around without a ton of bs ads and other junk?
 
Yah, I know, just wanted to make it abundantly clear there. :)

www.artofgregmartin.com has some really wicked stuff. DeviantArt does also, thousands of 'em, but they're broken down by artist and there's no way to just look at "all" the stuff in one layout, unfortunately.

I find a lot of my favorites by reading "Post your Wallpaper/Desktop/Screenshot" types of threads here, and especially over at the MacRumors site, and some others. Scanning through threads like those give you some idea of what's around, and a lot of it you simply never happen upon on your own.

The threads here about wallpaper/desktop/screenshot are most definitely worth rummaging through, and highly recommended for ideas.
 
Nice, thanks for the recommendations guys. I like Interfacelift because it allows me to browse by resolution and there's a lot of nice high quality wallpapers on there. I'll spend some time browsing through the threads on here though. Thanks!
 
You used to be able to browse by res on DevART, but since the redesign, that feature was lost. You can work around it though by picking a category, then typing your resolution in the mini search box on the right (not the one at the very top of the page)
 
www.studiotwentyeight.com has some nice backgrounds also. Most of them are included as part of the themes that KoL releases. He's been one of the top skinners for years now, and has quite a few awesome pieces of artwork there. Worth checking out.

awsome reasource. Ima download half these sites database and include em on my install pack (free stuff I include with comps I sell, cept my shits actually useful... unlike some *ahem*dellalienwareHPe-machinesfalconnorthwestsonytoshiba*ahem*)
 
Who is the mod for this forum? Normally they are listed at the bottom of the page but there is no one there and I checked through the Forum Leaders section and all I found was FLECOM, but only for the Photography sub forum..... weird..

I guess I'll send a message PS-RagE...maybe he can help....

There is also the animated desktops of 3DNA at http://www.3dna.net I haven't seen them being mentioned anywhere on hardforum for quite a long time. It used to be pretty popular back in the day.

Just found that one a few minutes ago, talk about some big wallpapers, good lord. 1920x1200 stuff, but also double and even triple that, width-wise. Over 1800 total... go get 'em.

its a pay site but someof the best hires walls around.
