Penryn Benchmarks

I just realized how terrible i am with processor code names. But then i jump started my mind with the wiki and read the article. It's good that performance is increased, I just hope the price doesn't go through the roof. Oc'in potential and temps is what I'm most interested in knowing.

Not worth the upgrade hehe, Now I have the QX6700 OC 3200mhz 355X9 with the Evga 680i SLI.

My next move is when Intel release their next socket or nehalem. Because you won't feel the much in performance, only way you can tell is running benches. So for those of you who just got Kentsfield just stick with it. But if you don't have any Quad Core yet which may include Pentium D or the lower end Conore, then this is a good buy.

Before my Qx6700, I had P4 with HT@ 3.2ghz, then I built this new rig and is 100X times faster then the P4.
Only good thing I see here is the 45n and less heat.
