If I had to guess, id bet they are out of stock. You never know though. They could be changing price or just dont want anyone to place anymore orders today.
 
Damnit this is bullshit I forgot my wallet at home today so I didn't have my CC with me at school so I figured I'd order when I got home. Nope!
 
well they are coming to 160 at ncix US now... but still decent deal, since it's out of stock everywhere else. :)
 
I should have pulled the trigger. Doh. I still have a great set of patriot RAM for $120 but its not D9 and had a rebate. Blah
 
For anyone that ordered Firestix yesterday (Tuesday), I called up BuffaloTech and they said that any orders placed on Tuesday won't have tracking numbers available until Thursday. Probably has something to do with the massive slowdown of the website and large quantity of orders that were placed. I think that once they get all these orders sent out, they might make the Firestix available again. Maybe they just wanted to get caught up before taking any additional orders. If you weren't able to get through and place an order, I'd keep an eye out on the website over the next couple days.
 
Im curious how many people got out of stock notices on their orders. It seems they oversold on their website, that is why they removed it. I got out of stock on my order as many others did. Everyone who got an order in, check your email.

It looks like they dont expect a shipment for 30 days! Anyone who was looking to get it on this deal, looks like youll be waiting 30 days at least.

Yikes, looks like I was way off.

I'm expecting a call back soon from someone at BuffaloTech, she'll tell me whether or not my order will go through and get shipped. If I don't get these Firestix then I'm stuck with A-data, and I can't afford to wait 30 days.

Looks like I lucked out. I just got off the phone with Robyn from BuffaloTech (She's apparently been busy as hell with all these orders) and she said my name was on the list of people who would have kits shipped out. I'll know for sure once I get an e-mail confirmation with tracking info tomorrow by noon, but for now it looks like I'll be getting a kit. Sorry to everyone that missed out on this deal, hopefully when they come back in 30 days they'll still be D9 and still have that amazing pricetag.

I too talked to Robyn... ;) my shipping got upgraded for free due to the delay, so i should be getting it tomorrow. YAY!

Not a bad deal at all, I'll see tomorrow if I get the same kind of treatment. I won't need them until Wednesday or so, but it would be nice to get 2-day shipping for the price of ground :D

I ordered these just in time too... I had 1 stick of Gskill go bad on me... I just finished doing some tests. Now I already have an RMA setup with newegg to replace them & then they are for sale too. LoL :)
 
I'm guessing if they get a new shipment in they wont be D9s or would they?
 
They should still be but its hard to know. If I end up having to cancel, I will need some memory, so if you have some stuff youre planning to sell..... :p

Unfortunately yes, that is when the new shipment will be coming in unfortunately. The $120 price is pretty fair considering it's on the egg for $160, and I would wager a guess that it's on other sites for more than that as well. I don't see why the price would come down anymore right now, unless some serious supply issues would need to be rectified. Keep in mind these are all going to be verified Micron D9's... so you can bet safely that you'll get serious results from these sticks, and not have to pay a $250+ price tag... :)
 
Herm....Well, while it is a nice price, within a week, ive seen some modules drop $50 so.... I could easily see them dropping more in 30 days.

Anyways $250? You can get brand new G.skill PC2-6400 HZ's which use even better Micron d9(GMH) chips for $174 with free shipping. Also outpost right now has those OCZ pc2-8500 (also micron d9 chips) for $169AR with free shipping. So this deal saves about $40-$50 currently, but in 30 days? I dont know man..... May see the g.skills drop or possible see firestix drop even more. Maybe see those expensive corsair and ocz PC2-8500 (also micron d9 chips) kits hit the $150 range by that time.
 
hmm... my order says processed, but nothing else. it's been on processed since yesterday. people with cancelled orders... when did you order? my order says around 3pm 4/17, but no cancellation note yet...

You didn't miss anything... They said shipping is delayed 1 day late due to system errors or something. You should get it tomorrow. :)

I just got off the phone with Buffalo - was told that my order shipped out yesterday; I will receive it this morning. Will let you know what I think.
 
Very nice deal.. I thought my former order of 184.45$ + shipping was a smoking deal 6 weeks ago :) I read thru posts and it's exactly what happened to me last time, with the same guys (Robyn and Mike).

I didn't get a tracking number until I asked them in a phone call. By the time they gave me the number, the package is already almost delivered to my house but held due to a snowstorm.
