Business was the upgrade offered when you bought PRO. To receive Home premium, you needed to buy MCE2005Well, my 2nd Vista Business arrived today even though the day before yesterday I received a letter stating they could not ship it.
Weird this is that they sent me Windows Vista Business 'N' . This version does NOT include Media Player. I'm not sure if I should consider that an upgrade or not.
You might want to get right on this, as stuff submitted after March31st isn't eligible.
Keep checking and after about 4 days, send an E-mail asking for an update. If there's a problem, they will tell you in an e-mail, and ask you to scan receipts and coupon.

After all the trouble i've had with VISTA ULTIMATE i'm going to stick with MCE 2005 for a while yet anyway.

Is this normal after it's been shipped, i don't think so!!
How long does it take for them to reply to emails? It's been a few days now since I emailed them. I even had my little tracking number on the bottom of it from when I sent in my POP scan.
I really don't want to call and sit on hold for a long period of time on my cell phone, but it looks like I may have to burn up some minutes on calling Moduslink.

Holy cow, I spoke too soon I guess. I checked my email once again just after posting and it has a reply from them saying it has been shipped. The website still says order approved though.
Put in a FEW kind words for the rest of us in this thread. I just put in a second order in the middle of March. I got a confirm# right away, but today I get an e-mail from the TECH GUARANTEE website, requesting a POP for my RETAIL purchase of MCE2005. I wonder how many of those braindead people out there, know that MCE was never sold in a retail box.After my 2 emails i sent them i got this reply...

We have just discovered that you had submitted 3 orders, the first order you have submitted has been shipped. For some reason the other orders have been cancelled, probably because we can not ship out more than 1 disc for the same COA number.
Please be informed that your order has been shipped on the 27th of March.
You should have received an email as a confirmation of shipment. You should also receive a second email containing the information on how to track your shipment.
Please be informed that you should receive the shipment within 3 weeks. Please be notified you will first receive the invoice, a few days later the disc should follow.

Incase your thinking, why did you place the order 3 times, i did, but after every cancellation and after Moduslink advised me too.
So for the next 2 weeks i shall see if all the trouble i've had is going to have been worth it, NOT!!.
PPS, after i received the email i decided to call them, again, to see if they could clarify my order shipped and cancellations, and the polite guy said he will get MICROSOFT to call me direct, THIS I CAN'T WAIT FOR, just to tell them what i think of MODUSLINK, that will be worth it.

My bad, I meant for the purchase of my retail software. Unfortunately for those of us who did buy OEM, the Tech guarantee website for RETAIL products, works excellent. I don't care to mention how many E-mails to Moduslink it took to get across the fact that my copy of MCE2005 was an OEM product, and NOT a RETAIL box product,and then STILL get yet another E-mail, directing me to the Tech website.Maybe Vista only launched 2 months ago, but the Moduslink website has been around since Nov 2006. The wait didn't bother me, it was the failure of the website, and total lack of any reasonable response, that kind of gets you hot. Seems to me that a "world Class" operation like Moduslink could have ponied up enough to hire a few people, who actually knew the product being promoted.
The good news is, that once I got the email saying my order was shipped, my card got charged the the next day,wich was March 9th. it wasn't quite 2 weeks later that the DVD showed up.LAST MS PROMO for me.
