Wellll, I finally took the plunge to linux but am currently having some remorse. First off, does anyone know if they're are native x-fi drivers for linux yet? I've looked everywhere so I doubt there are, in which case, is there anyway to get my x-fi working properly ( on ubuntu 6.10 ).
Also, I'm having the hardest time getting most things that didnt work 'out of the box' to work at all on ubuntu. First off...I cant play any .mpg or .mov files, rhapsody doesn't work at all, there's something f'ed up with my repositories ( apt-get cant find vlc or eclipse ??? ).
So, sorry for the rambling but I guess my questions are:
are there linux x-fi drivers?
how do I edit/see what repositories are availible?
and finally...
my wireless card drivers were installed automatically...is there any built in wireless network tool?
