New XP install stuck in endless reboot cycle

I JUST installed windows on this PC. Got all the programs installed. And was finishing up some driver installs. All was good until the Audio Driver install.

System is a VIA C3. I had just installed the Vinyl Audio Codec and the app rebooted the PC after the install. Now, when Windows tries to boot, the boot.ini screen passes fine, but when It gets to the blue 'Starting Windows..." Screen, it sits there for about a minute, and the reboots again.

Any ideas?
 
Boot into Safe Mode by hitting F8 and nuke the drivers and see if it helps.
 
Why didn't i think of that? :confused:

Well it worked, so thanks. Now I just have to find a way to get the sound to work that doesn't crash Windows.:p
