Looks like there's a drawer, so I'd say dresser.

Can anyone help me out??? I am stuck and don't know which direction to go. I would like to keep my 37" in the corner like it is.... that angle is perfect for my couch and bed.... if i mounted it flush on a wall it wouldn't be as nice of an angle as it is now. I was thinking of getting a t.v. stand to put behind a desk.... the thing is t.v. stands don't seem to be taller than the average desk so how will i get the t.v. stand to be about 1 foot higher than the desk? This is the computer desk i really want, does anyone know where to get it from?

I would like that desk and then a t.v. stand behind it..... ideas/links/etc.. would be greatly appreciated!! I want this setup to look really nice when i'm done. I was also thinking a wall mount but don't know how to mount it in the corner like that..... swivel mount? can't really find a good one that will hold my olevia 37" 237v Thanks everyone for your help and thoughts.

It's gotta be either the 2007 or 2407, because my Xbox 360 is about as tall as the picture shows at their highest points.

I'm thinking its the 24

Yep, it's the 2407.

FullMonty35, sure, I'll post some more tmr if I can but I have no idea where the desk is from. I got it as a gift, but I'm sure there are similar looking ones at stores like staples and officemax?

Hmm... the paper looks like genetics but the book though looks like a micro one (ask me how I know);)

Funny story - I just finished grading a stack full of genetics papers I need to pass out in lab tomorrow. Now I'm seeing one on this site - will it ever end ?!?! Hey, this gave me an idea...QUIZ ! :)

I received the Samsung 226BW yesterday. I hooked it up and the colors are absolutely brilliant. I had a problem getting bf2142 to launch though and ended up having to reinstall the game because the game wouldn't support the same max resolution as it did playing on the sceptre. While gaming on the Sceptre the max resolution was 1360 x something, I can't remember what it was but the Samsung 226BW only supports 1280 x 1024 so when I launched the game it didn't work. I hooked the Sceptre back up and did a system restore and the game ran again. Unhooked the Sceptre and hooked up the Samsung and the game ran, but when I rebooted, no more game. So I had to reinstall. I have some photos of the two monitors side by side but my lighting was poor so the photos aren't all that great. All in all I say both monitors has it's PROs and CONs. The Samsung has slightly better color I think. Also in game play the monitor is smoother than the Sceptre. I had some quick studdering gaming on the Sceptre but on the Samsung, no hickups at all. For gaming I like the Samsung better but if you just want to watch movies and you don't mind a little backlight bleeding get the Sceptre. I failed to mention though that the Samsung also has a little backlight bleeding. Not enough to really notice but it's there. I know my post won't help anyone but just thought I would share this with you guys. Also Samsung is no help with this monitor, it's so new they don't even know they have it yet LOL. The links to the pics are above but they aren't very good but they are the best I could do at the time. Because the lighting was bad and I took the pics last night, I had to set the ISO speed to 1600 so there is a some noise in the pictures. I decided not to take any gaming pics because they would not look right under these conditions.

Haha....do you teach HS or are you a univ. prof.? I'm taking AP Bio right now so hopefully I can skip some basic biology classes in college. Ahh, seems like all we do in class are labs labs and more labs.

LOL! I just finished AP Bio last year and that sheet brought back memories. I miss that class :p . Good luck on the AP!

This is my new rig/workstation... what do you think? ;)

Specs:

Monitor: Dell 2007WFP 20.1" Widescreen LCD (1680x1050)
Speakers: Logitech Z-2300 2.1
Network routers: NetGear RP614 and La Fonera (FON) router
External harddrive enclosure: Cooler Master XCRAFT RX-3HA

and my workstation is located downright and two servers to the right :)

Would love a link to that background, its kickass.

ill also be finishing my AP bio next trimester, Its funny, i made a 45 on the preliminary final, studied 30 mins for the real final, and made an 89  :D

Im taking that in 2 semesters. Right now I'm in AP Comp Sci, i think bio will be easier :)

take some more ;) . It's a pretty nice setup, but i have to agree with Cereal Killer. Get a longer DVI cable and get that sucka hooked up :D . I'm using my 32inch LTV32w6 as an HTPC/360/HDTV monitor in my room and yea, Westy monitors rock!

poor quality:eek: thats the best camera phone pic ive ever seen!!!

Well, its pretty poor because the phone doesn't take very good photo's when indoors with poor lighting. It can do much better outside when there is a lot of light.

And yes, its an oldie from like 1999 or so, used to cost $2k I think. Still, its a damned good screen. It still manages to have a higher DPI than most displays out there - 1600x1024 @ 17" widescreen = very sharp. Its sad how they are sticking the same resolution on 22" screens these days.

I like that AV stand for your big Westy. I've got two Jerker desks. It might be time to get a new AV stand. ;)

im the same resolution wise...i think 1920x1200 on my 17in lappy looks much better than the 1680x1050 20in widescreen desktop i have.
