I finally got my new beast in.
Sager 5960
AMD turion x2 tl-56 proc
20.1" wide screen
2x go 7950gtx (sli)
2x 1gb corsair DDR2 667
2x 100gb 7200rpm hds (raid 0)
First off, this thing is huge, over 15lbs by itself and has to be over 20lbs in the backpack with the power supply. This thing runs everygame ive installed on it at full res (1680x1050 or close in what the game supports) with everything maxed out.( BF2142, Neverwinter nights 2, Warhammer mark of chaos and Spellforce 2 ) with out a hiccup.
My 3d scores are a little dissapointing (i know they dont mean much and game play is what counts, but still fun to compare scores ) 3d05 ~mid 9000s and 3d06 ~mid 6500s at stock settings. Im thinking the bottleneck is the processor and will be upgrading that as soon as I can (when faster turions become available). Suprisingly adjusting quality settings in the control panel does absolutly nothing for the scores.
