P5N-E SLI OCing

On my P5B I could get 380 FSB with my E6400. I was hoping I could get higher with this board. I left the NB Core Voltage to Auto, should I Be changing that? If so, to what?

I also found that the FSB-RAM Clock mode seems to mess with things. Unlinked 1100/800 wont boot but Linked 1100/688 will. The RAM will boot into Memtest at 821 though. Weird.

Also Im using 0202 BIOS but cant find the 0304 that was used in the review. The Asus site only has BIOSes for a "P5N-E" but nothing under "P5N-E SLI."

On the up side I did discover that my RAM does go a little higher on this board which is nice.
 
Be careful for what you with for. I was in the same boat with 0202 and was provided with 0307 - it enabled the SLI memory profiles. But it was not a smooth upgrade at all, had to go back to 0202, at least it worked. Basically after loading the new bios, it would hang on the Asus logo screen and do nothing. Even crashfree was not helping me out (when that happens - look for a hardware problem). It turns out that I had to pull out one of my sticks of dual channel memory to get it to boot. It would get to my windows logon screen but my keyboard and mouse would not respond to allow me to log in - but hitting the power button initiated a normal shuttdown. Just some gee wiz for you, hopefully when a new bios is posted on their site it'll have the bugs worked out. This was my first crumy bios flash in several years of tinkering.
 
Well after some Googling, I found that its supposedly okay to set the NB Voltage to 1.39 which helped some. Overall Ive only been able to get 10 more MHz out of my FSB though. Im still digging around for a passive Southbridge heatsink and a fan for the NB.

I found an old NB heatsink fan from another mb but it doesnt fit since this NB is at a 45 degree angle to the board. WTF is that? Anyone have any solutions?
 
I'm going with the side panel add a fan mod.
The NB is what is preventing me from going to 400FSB.
My system would lock up after random boot points due to that sucker being soo hot.

same here, Windows Media Player 11 and 3dmark01 environment bump mapping test in particular would cause sudden reboots between 450-500fsb, between 400-450fsb nv4disp.dll would bluescreen instead of just a sudden reboot, right now I am at 380fsb and no more bluescreens or reboots, HAS to be the NB as the processor is prime95 stable for >4hrs on both cores at 500fsb (3.5, it's an e6300)..... or the BIOS.......... maybe the strap isn't relaxing the timings enough at higher fsb, if the strap is what I understand it to be (isn't there one at 1333, or is that with the intel chipsets?)

My first test for stability is to stream a video from my server with WMP11 !
