i have just ordered a Korean monitor with dream seller.and they are asking for $35 more to mark it down. but said i would still have to pay the full tax if i was unlucky and customs queried it,. so i have asked them to send it normal so i could be in for a big customs bill. just had another email saying they cant mark it down,as i wont pay the extra. so they will have to send it with fedex ,any ideas how much ill get stung for. the monitor costs $350 or £225 with delivery. to the uk.

You'll have to pay both import duty, which I believe is 0% on computer monitors, and import VAT, which will be 20% and calculated after import duty is applied.

Multi input, non-Crossover 1440p IPS tend to lack proper brightness controls (example, other brands including Yamakasi have this issue), too bad you picked the Yamakasi over the multi input Crossover AMG and 27QW series which work properly.
