Overwatch May Dates Leaked?

Those of you looking forward to Overwatch might find this interesting. Obviously this isn't proof positive that the game will hit on May 24th but that is a Tuesday and Blizzard did say the game was coming this spring. Hit the link for all the info.


A post from Deadpoolthegreat on reddit features images of a pop up advertisement allegedly encountered on IGN revealing a release date for Overwatch, Blizzard's upcoming multiplayer shooter. This was presumably inadvertent, as the ads no longer appear, though they have been preserved in a couple of screen captures. According to the post the game will launch on May 24th, and preorder customers will get early access on May 3rd.

Blizzard games are far from beta when released. The game will receive constant updates and hero additions but Overwatch has been getting polished by the public for over 4 months now and the game is in a very complete state.
