New KIXIB 1700+ cores

Not the first time I have heard about this but I have never seen one out in the wild. At first I thought maybe they were Thortons based on their steppings as my Applebred is a MIXIB, but Thortons should not be down at that clock speed as far as I know.
 
I have a KIXIB0336 XP2000 (DUT) sitting on my desk right here- I bought it secondhand a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not going to be able to fire it up until next week when the rest of my new stuff arrives. I'll let you know. It's definately a Tbred, Barton/Thorton stepping codes all have a Q as the second letter as far as I can see.

I'm not sure how the shop came to have it, it still has traces of thermal pad on the top which makes me think that it wasn't traded in by an OCer who wasn't happy with it- fingers crossed.
