If you want 12GB of VRAM on a budget, you can't go wrong here.

Considering a 3060 12GB is still about $290 and this obliterates a 3060: I think this is very warm to lowercase hot, in the current market.

I was just looking at this gpu. So then $300 is a good price for that 6750?? My son mainly plays online games like Fortnite and some other racing game. It would be paired with an i7 9770 cpu if that matters.

I managed to nab an RTX 4070 TI Ventus OC for $365.96 at Microcenter. Clearance markdown + openbox. 3 weeks ago I managed to get an Open Box Strix B650-A for $91. Start looking guys because the open box stuff is selling cheap because its sitting now. I did pair this setup with the 7900X3D and I felt that I built a budget PC except it's technically not a budget build.

I think that's one of those one-off unicorn deals, kind of like I got my open box X670E Mag Carbon for 200$. They're pretty rare. If anything, the open box GPUs at both of the MCs near me are ironically overpriced.

Yup. You see them once in a while. You can't base your buying decisions off of them being readily available, that's for sure.

I dont know what kind of racing games your son plays but a 6750 paired with an i7 9770 on a game like fortnite would be like killing a fly with a sledgehammer.

Im waiting till GTA6 comes out for PC before my next video card upgrade. Depending on the age of your son not sure if I would reccomend that type of racing game ;)
