Blizzard has released Warcraft-Warcraft II and Diablo on Battle.net

Even though these games have been on GOG DRM free, for years now, Blizzard decided to milk the masses for a little bit more.
Warcraft II comes with the expansion Beyond The Dark Portal, and Diablo comes with Hellfire at least.

WarCraft II and Diablo both come with their respective expansions on GOG too, by the way. You can get WarCraft II with both Beyond the Dark Portal and Tides of Darkness for $10 on GOG while it costs $20 on Battle.net since they're selling Tides of Darkness separately.

Must resist buying them all again. Have them all on original discs, though Warcraft 2 Battle.net edition is sealed. Bought them all on GOG when they released there as well.

Played through a Hellfire run a while back using DevilutionX. Highly recommend playing it that way even if it does offer some QoL improvements the original game didn’t.

What do you mean give back? Meaning "fix" the original versions so they work as intended instead of focusing on stupid reforged? you can and always could play WC3 vanilla and frozen throne i thought...

You can play the original one, but if you try to take it online to play multiplayer it auto updates to the reforged edition. It can only be used as a single player game offline.

Pretty much, you cant do anything online or multiplayer. The game lost years of custom maps and scenarios along with clans when they decided to get rid of the old game.
