Adobe Standard, weird issue with requesting signatures

So when a user tries to request signatures, gets this error. Could not send. Your default signer authentication method is set to phone valid Phone info/security option is missing for member with email

Not much seems to be available on this error. Have any of you guys seen it?
 
Looks like your or their key (unsure which one contains the info) is missing info in the phone number field, and so your default auth method (phone) is not working. Solution would be to either update the key with phone info, or switch the default method of authentication, or manually choose another method if adobe allows that.

(spams your contact with porn sign-ups since you didn't cover Mr. Bowers' email) Come on, that's rule #1 of basic privacy. The error is self explanatory, no wonder you aren't finding any Google results :).
 
This is definitely about the level of OpSec I expect from a bank though, not gonna lie. Go on a huge forum asking for basic help and blasting a user's email address in the clear. Amazing.
